This is hardly unexpected news, but BBC America have confirmed they'll be premiering season 5 of Doctor Who next year in HD, starring Matt Smith as the newly-regenerated Doctor. They also revealed their broadcast of Torchwood: Children Of Earth reached a cumulative total of 3.3 million viewers in July, making it their most successful series ever. Doctor Who: Planet Of The Dead was also a hit, picking up 657,000 viewers.
